  • Waiting for Insurance Authorization
  • Digital Photos Taken

STEP 2

  • The vehicle is assigned to a technician

  • Damage estimate completed

  • Create work file

STEP 3

  • Technician Disassembles Vehicle and Inspects for Additional Damage

  • Order Parts

  • Body Repairs in Progress

STEP 4

  • Prepare vehicle for paint (Sanding, Apply primer)

  • Inspect body repairs complete

  • Sealers applied

  • Vehicle masking

  • Vehicle in paint booth

  • Apply paint & clear coat

  • Painted surfaces are polished

  • Pinstriping applied

  • Rockguard

  • Two tone paint

  • Bumpers polished

STEP 5

  • Mechanical Work
  • Installation of Lamps
  • Air Conditioning
  • Install Moldings
  • Grills, Doors, Trim Pieces, Etc.
  • Front-End Alignment (if needed)
  • Electrical & Airbag Replacement (if needed)

STEP 6

  • Wash

  • Vacuum

  • Make Ready

  • Painted panels waxed as needed

STEP 7

  • Service Advisor performs quality control inspection
    and completes the 22-point checklist

  • Notify customer when ready

STEP 8

  • Visit collision center
  • Customer inspects completed repairs
  • Complete final paperwork and warranty
  • Review customer satisfaction survey

Blueprint STEP 2

  • The vehicle is assigned to a technician (in order of arrival)

  • Technician disassembles vehicle and inspects for additional damage
  • Send revision of preliminary estimate to customer/insurance for approval

Body Shop/Repair STEP 3

  • Order parts
  • Body repairs in progress
  • Frame/Unibody/ Structural Repairs
  • Structural repairs in process
  • Mechanical work

Painting/Refinishing STEP 4

  • Prepare vehicle for refinish (Sanding, Apply Primer)

  • Inspect body repairs complete

  • Sealers applied

  • Vehicle masking

  • Apply refinish & clear coat

  • Tint Color

Painting/Refinishing STEP 4

  • Prepare vehicle for refinish (Sanding, Apply Primer)

  • Inspect body repairs complete

  • Sealers applied

  • Vehicle masking

  • Apply refinish & clear coat

  • Tint Color

Reassemble Vehicle STEP 5

  • Installation of lamps, Air Conditioning, Install moldings, grills, doors, trim pieces, etc.
  • Alignment if needed and calibrations completed

  • Electrical & Airbag Replacement (if needed)

  • Reprogram vehicle to OEM specifications
  • Post Scan completed

Clean Vehicle STEP 6

  • Wash

  • Painted panels waxed as needed

  • Clean Interior
  • Tire and Wheel shine
  • Painted surfaces are polished
  • Final bill paperwork submitted to insurance for approval

Quality Assurance STEP 7

  • Service Advisor performs quality control inspection
    and completes the quality control checking

  • Send final bill to insurance/customer for final approval

Vehicle Ready STEP 8

  • Notify customer car is ready
  • Visit collision center

  • Customer reviews repairs with service advisor

  • Complete final paperwork and warranty
